Default Is Stephen Colbert pro-life?

Apparently he's a Sunday school teacher and a practicing Catholic, which makes me believe he is pro-life. However he is also a self-described liberal and mocks many pro-life politicians on the Colbert Report. Anybody know?

Are we talking Stephen Colbert the TV show character or Stephen Colbert the real life person? I have no idea what his personal life is or that it really matters with probing questions like this.

No clue. I know he's a practicing Catholic and a Democrat in real life, but he really never talks about his personal politics, because he's having too much fun on his show satirizing just about everyone else.

I read recently that he actually lasped and pulled away from the Church for a long time-- but he found his faith again and came back. He makes references to being Catholic all the time and I think he's sincere.
