Favorite False Dichotomies
So, let's hear your favorite false dichotomies!
Will you contribute to this thread? Or, are you a lazy, no-good nincompoop?

I would contribute, but I'm trying to decide whether to order take-out lunch or starve to death.

Re: Favorite False Dichotomies
If you're one of those Catholics who cares about the truth, the teachings of the church, the liturgy etc. then you're not one who loves other people.
Something that is your 'favorite' can't also be something that makes you want to tear your hair out every time you see it.

Re: Favorite False Dichotomies
A common one in contemporary thought: If one remains or becomes an orthodox Catholic, then he is a superstitious, non-reasoning anachronist.

Along this line, it is also believe that either being, or becoming, a Catholic means that one gives up one's ability to think, and "blindly" follows everything one is told to believe.
