Fr. Edgardo "Bing" Arellano - developing Stigmata?

A few years ago I was told that Fr. Edgardo "Bing" Arellano (From EWTN) was developing Stigmata.

Has anyone else heard this, or is this all a rumor?

dont know much about stigmata but take knives swords all sorts of articles that attack spiritits or souls mine included ive noticed at times like today my wife getting a knife cut her spirtual one so i grabbed it and put it back in the kitchen. im used to stigmata its always around me.

Saw Fr. "Bing" just the other night, on an EWTN program. But I haven't heard anything about him developing the stigmata. His hands didn't appear to be wrapped, or bandaged.. and he seemed able to stand and walk. Maybe if you email EWTN, someone there might be able to update you.

An observation, though. I have heard of people "receiving" the stigmata. But have never heard of anyone "developing" the stigmata (slowly, over time?). So.. this puzzles me, just a bit. Of course, all things are possible with God.
