That is a comic from the late 1960's this is how Black Canary was drawn in the 1940's:-

This is a more current image of her in a style she'd be drawn in nowadays:-

Incidentally the two images are of two different characters as the first is the mother of the second and the second has an adopted daugther who she rescued from a very abusive background.

The main difference I noticed was that the comic character had full wavy hair. I miss big hair. Not like mega hair but hair with body. Anyway, modesty does matter, but this is a collector's item comic image, which practically requires dramatic exaggerations in all kinds of things.
GC, I'm surprised by your pic, thought you were slightly older. You remind me of me at a little older than you. Now I dress totally different.

Yeah, obviously I would tell a woman not to wear an outfit in the part of London I live in as it's a fairly rough area but if she was with a group and wanted to dress like that it's her business and if some man assumes it's says something about her 'avilability' that's his problem not hers.

As for sexualising kids materials well stuff like Bratz is far more worrying to me in that regard I'd say.
We don't have a right to dress as we wish. We are not to be near occasions to sin. We are temples of the Holy Spirit and we are to act and dress in clothing suitable as such. It may be a cartoon character for adults but that does not make it any better. We ABSOLUTELY have a responsibility to act as God created. I suggest you read "Theology for the Body."
