Happy Birthday Emerald Dragon! It is my sister's B-day on the 23rd.
Have any of you seen Batman Begins II (Dark Knight)? I heard it was reallllllllllllllllllly dark. I really want to see it, but I don't if it is bad. I'm confused!

Re: Teen Thread: Summer 2008
I've seen both Batman movies (that is, the latest ones... I know there are some older ones too). I thought the first one was great, but this new one (The Dark Knight) is TERRIFIC! Heath Ledger as the Joker was incredible!! I'll warn you, though- there's a lot of language, and some violence. (The violence didn't bother me really, but I have some friends who didn't like it so much, so just a warning. ) Anyway, I still highly recommend it! In fact...

Batman Begins is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! It is one of the best movies made recently! It is fairly realistic, it is just perfect you have to see it! It is really, really, really, good! The cast is perfect, and the movie explains why Bruce Wayne became Batman, and what drives him. Alfred it perfect beyond belief. And Scarecrow is creepy, but not so creepy that you can't watch. It is a good movie for people about age eight and up, maybe ten and up. Now go out and rent it right now.
musicgal4jesus,
Is it really creepy and dark, I mean does the Joker have a disgusting sense of humour? I don't mind violence, as long as it isn't blood and gore, and I don't like bad language, but I went to a public high school, so I am not horrified by it. But I mean, well, How much more creepy is Joker than Scarecrow was? thanks for the review. I really want to see it, but I can wait until it comes out on DVD if it is not my type of theatre movie. Thanks again.
Boy am I being bad. I should stop posting, but I am adicted! I guess I will brake my habit when I leave in a week and a half
My sister Lauren is going to the TAC camp this coming Sunday, and I'm probably not going to be able to come home until Christmas because of cost of travel, so I won't see her until then, I have only two more weeks with the rest of my family and then I won't see them until Christmas. This is so weird! I have never been away from all of them for more than two weeks, so this will be strange.
Any of you have tips on how not to get homesick, and how much to call home each week. I think my mom wants me to call 20 times a day, but my dad only once a week. What do you all do? Any tips for what to put in a dorm room? Any tips for college life in general? If you can't tell I am nervous-excited.
Have a Wonder Full day!

8:44 my time! How early do you want me to get up? And I can't go on the computer as soon as I get up or my parents would think me a total sloth
Emerald Dragon, my mom always tells me to say them no matter what the time and it actually helps you remember the next week. I had to get a computer for college, so I decided to get a mac. I love it! And I set a 9HM timer and so every Tuesday morning when I open my computer up, a voice says "Calendar Alert!" and a little 9HM reminder pops up.
I never knew how much I like the dry climate of the west until recently! We had clouds (Really clouds!) and it made it somewhat humid for about a week, now it is not humid any more and it is wonderful and dry! Even if it is over 100 every day, it isn't that bad as long as it is dry!
Well write to you later!

Okay, thanks! I'll be sure to say them next week whether I remember late or not! ^_^

how are you all doing?
i've been soo busy in the last 3 weeks or so. I went to Alaska! It was absolutely amazing up there. Beautiful. =]]
I got back from there last friday, && ever since then i've been running around doing so many things. My schedule is finally seeming to slow down a bit && i have more time for the internet. =]
on another note, has anyone here ever read the Twilight Series by Stephenie Meyer? =]

Hey there! Alaska would be amazing, and I guess this is the time of year to be doing it when it's not so cold. Glad you enjoyed it!
I've never read that series. Is it good? Bad? Ugly? Do you recommend it? I assume from the title that it's fantasy...
