I am very interested in different topics. One of them is
How to talk to a jew about Jesus?
How to make them aware of what they are missing?
Few months ago I have a 4 hours conversation with a Rabie and believed me I did good, but it was hard to explain to him the concep of the holy trinity. They think that christinity is not a monoteistic faith. Plus I was very surprise that they see the islam close to the judaism, despite the history of violence among them. than Judaims been close to Christhianity.
Any comments.
Thanks

Greetings Vincente!!! Welcome to Catholic Answers Forums!!!

I use many of those skills as we minister covering anyone one in need of prayer through our website www.chatwithgod.org ...I am the president and founder of that ministries 10 years ago. I just returned from a Spain mission trip and met some awesome priests there. As a writer I have a Spanish Prayer journal now surfacing the public www.mischarlascondios.com I've had the pleasure to serve over 1,000 pastors and leadership with a free journal. We also delivered journals to AIDS victims to the homeless in LA and Orange County. I do need prayer as I am going to speak at a women's conference. I'm extending myself for the sake of the gospel. I do have financial need...3 of my molars need repair. 50% is covered by insurance and $1,800 is my portion...each tooth is $600. I'm not afraid because the Bible says that God owns the cattle on a thousand hills. So I ask that you join my in this prayer request. I also applied for a city grant that may help build a fence around the surrounding perimeter of my home. The fence is falling and both nearby homes have 2 german shepherds and two pit bulls. God is faithful. Lastly, pray for my husbands back. He is stressed...and in garding he pulled the lower muscles in his back. We seek God and his healing hands!
Thank you friends for allowing me to join in.

Greetings Jen!!!! Welcome to Catholic Answers Forums!!!!

What a interesting background - and website (I even looked at the Spanish one, but don't know Spanish!!! ). Isn't it nice to be in God's service!!!

Do join in here - do ask questions - do share with us - do learn and grow with us!!!

Heavenly Father, we pray for Jen and her husband as they have financial needs, and her husband has health problems and for her to speak at a conference. You do have 'all the cattle on a thousand hills' - and you can meet every need!!!! Amen.

We will trust Philippians 4:19 for you: "And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus."

Hi Brendan!!! Welcome to Catholic Answers Forums (CAF)!!!

We are glad you are here!!!

To me, faith needs "exercising" - just like your body needs it. James 4:8 says "draw close to God and He will draw close to you"!!!!

Spending time at CAF (and in other ways) can help you draw close to God. Faith is separate from feelings. You may not feel like praying, but do it anyway; you may not feel like going to Mass, but do it anyway. God honors your trying to be closer to you!!!!

Do look over the forums here - do join in - do share with us - and do spend time reading and in being an active part of CAF!!!!

Hi Everyone,

I'm a 47 year old male, living in Canada. You can call me "Joe," although I prefer not to give my real name. I joined this forum because I've been struggling with a personal problem that has sent me into a deep crisis of faith.

Ostensibly, it's how literally to follow the doctrine of the Catholic Church... as well as how to get my life back on track.

I'll get into the details at a later date.

Joe

Hello Everyone,
Just checking out the Catholic forums. I have just written a Rosary program that works on the PC and Nintendo DS.
It has helped me remember my prayers and has gotten closer to God. I thought some other Catholics would enjoy this free open source program.
