Default Do guardian angels go to Purgatory?
Dear Apologist,
My husband and I were talking about Purgatory yesterday and it occurred to us that we don't really know what happens to our Guardian Angel when we die. Does Guardian Angel accompany the Soul to the Purgatory? If no, then what happens to the Guardian Angel? Is He reunited with the Soul once she makes it into Heaven?
If the Angel does go to the Purgatory, does He relieve the suffering of the Soul in any way? We assume that the Guardian Angel doesn't accompany the Soul to the Hell.
