Computer Problems?

Hi !
I just had to re-register (formerly Conservative) - I found that I suddenly couldn't log on, access CAF - and finally had to re-register. I'm wondering if anyone has experienced computer issues lately that affected their mouse (no control of it even though batteries are good) - programs not opening - screens just running amuck....And then, not being recognized here.

I've had computer repair - but still seeing some glitches.
Any thoughts? Thanks.

What did the repair person tell you? Did you have a virus?

No. No mention of a virus. He's been pretty reputable, dependable and knowledgable. As a matter of fact, in answer to your question - I had certain virus scan programs - one I had just renewed / updated at THEIR request, as well as an additional one. The first program told me to remove the second one, which I did. Computer guy - replaced the one I removed - telling I SHOULD have it - and added a different primary virus scan. I've worked on computers for years - but not technically - am so confused - and feeling so disconnected when I lose my PC - particularly at a very delicate time when I need my "lifeline".
Really missed you all in the interim.
