OK, I am a Newbie here, CAF has the thing where you get an email when someone posts on the thread you have used. Fair 'nuff, for those of us who do NOT want this little feature, HOW DO I TURN IT OFF!

down toward the bottom of the email it'll have a place where you can unsubscribe to the thread by clicking on the link provided. Once you do that, you'll stop getting the emails. I don't know if there's a way to avoid being alerted the first time someone responds though....

At the top of the page, just under the ads, is a line of options. Click the next to last on right - Profile.
On the left, under Control panel, is a list of options.
Click on the fourth down - Edit Options
On the right are a number of orange framed areas
Go to the second - Messaging and notification
It contains some blue framed areas
Go to the second - Default thread subscription mode
Set the window to No e-mail notification
MOST IMPORTANT -
Scroll all the way to the bottom and click Save changes
