"Check Availability" button for new screen names
I would just like to kindly bring to your attention that it would be much less frustrating to register as a new member if there was a button below the box where you enter a desired username to see whether it was available. As it is now, you don't find out that its unavailable until you hit submit at the bottom of the page, and then you have to enter a new one and re-enter the password.
What this button would do in my mind would be similar to the type of thing you would use when creating a g-mail acocunt. It tells you whether a username is available, and if not it tries to offer suggestions of available names that are fairly close. An example of what I am suggesting can be found by going to the google home page, clicking mail at the top, then clicking sign up for new account on the next page.
