My newest poem (just for fun)
Senility
When I was young
My mind was bright,
Alhemizers has
put out the light.
I’ve lost my keys,
I’ve lost my books,
and I forgot
to feed the chooks.
Can you tell how
the toothpaste I should use,
and what I’m supposed to do,
with this pair of shoes?
Don’t laugh at me,
Your turn will come.
Being old and senile
is not much fun.
by Mary Ann Matulis
Heaps more of my poems
Some unrelated but useful information:
The powerful intercession of the Holy Souls in Purgatory for their benefactors and ways to help them
http://missionbell.homestead.com/Afa...holysouls.html
The web page has accounts of the intercession of The Holy Souls in Purgatory, for their benefactors in cases of illness, addictions, cars that won't start, infertility problems, protection in accidents, conversion, chronic insomnia, their help for people who are experiencing major trouble with city councils, success with projects, employment, real estate, television sets that don’t work properly, finding lost property and trouble with relations, etc. and prayers and ideas on how to help The Holy Souls in Purgatory.
Novena to St Philomena the Wonder Worker for the healing of autism
http://missionbell.homestead.com/nov...cchildren.html
Each person (who has autism or an autism related condition) whose name is sent to be included in this novena will be prayed for regularly by a priest of Lourdes, France at the grotto. Only the first name of the person is needed for the purpose of this novena. Everyone is invited to send names: parents, grandparents, teachers, doctors, aunties, therapists etc.
The novena is held twice every month from: the 1st to the 9th of the Month and from the 10th to the 18th of the month.
(My oldest child received a big healing from autism through prayer).
Please let others know about the link to the Holy Souls in Purgatory web page and the autism novena web page link

Re: My newest poem (just for fun)
Cute. LOL
I read the rest, as a non catholic I have no idea who they are about,
But I must say, I got a kick out of the clutter monster! hehehehe
Was looking earlier at a closet wondering if I could be brave enough to tackle it. Overflowing closet full of things, receipts going back 5 years, etc..........;...
Interesting about autism, never heard of being healed from it. My son has a form of autism. Had a severe reaction to the MMR vaccine, seized, and was never the same again.

I recited The Clutter Monster for a gathering at my parish.
It hopefully is inspirational and entertaining for all those who believe in hoarding junk and who can't see the point in parting with anything.
To declutter a big mess, divide and conquer. Choose a modest section and deal with it. Then move on later to the next section. If you do it all at once who will be overwhelmed and give up.
Good luck in your efforts to decluttter. You will win this battle bit by bit.
I wrote a whole book in this way; bit by bit, not in one fell swoop.
If anyone is interested you can read it at the following link.

A chook is Australian slang for a hen (chicken). You feed them grains and left-overs from your dinner. They law eggs and you have them for Christmas dinner if you don't like turkey.
