Talking The Catholic Teaching Quiz

Ok this is meant as a fun, relaxed thread after all the mental anguish and eye watering gymnastics of recent threads

The idea is I will post a question based on something the Catholic Church teaches. Other Churches may teach likewise. You answer as honestly as you can without looking up the answers!!!!!!

There's no point in looking the answers up and posting. The idea is you might learn something and test your current level of knowledge.

Some of the answers we may have in common, some not.

Once the question has been answered, we can have a lively discussion of what we think the answer means and how we apply it, or not, to our daily lives.

When we've said what needs saying, I'll post the next question

Once again all exchanges must be conducted in civility, charity and kindness.

Once again I will moderate your hide if you step out of line

Oh, and just so you know, I've upgraded:

Be afraid, be very afraid

Now, the first question: (no cheating and no looking the answer up)

What are the 7 corporal works of mercy?

I admit I do not know the answer. A guy in a bag sticking his head out while a guy on a tricycle is watching. Since no one has responded I would say it's time for the answer! Please.

1) Don't throw out the kitty even though she ALWAYS lays on the clean laundry basket.. Because she's my hubby's kitty and he would be sad!

2) Take the little ones to mass, even though they tend to cry and fuss and yell out things like "NO MOMMY!! I DON'T WANT TO SEE JESUS!" during communion
