It is -37C here this morning! (That's -35F). And there is NO wind. Thank God....add wind to this and we'd be in danger of losing our skin:sn owing:

Good heavens. Hope you can stay inside. I'm in California and this kind of cold doesn't happen here. However most of my family is in the Midwest (Chicago, etc.) and they say this winter is worse than the last. I visted them last winter and it put me into ten months of a flare of rheumatoid arthritis - all because of the bitter cold. I have no more plans to visit in winter!

I truly miss the family but ... you know?

It is in the 60's, humid - so, we have the windows open to get some breeze. I'll send you some of it

I'm in Illinois and it's been a miserable winter. Spring is coming, though!

Oh, so sorry and winter has just begun! Well, hopefully this will be the coldest day of the year (I can hope can't I?)

I am cold and it isn't anywhere near that cold here but then again, I am sitting in my office at the computer which sits on top of an old metal desk that never seems to get warm!

Well, take a nice hot bath, that used to warm me up for a bit when I lived in ND where it got close to that cold!

35 degrees here, which sounds pretty toasty compared to you guys, but to answer the question- Yes! I am cold.

Don't like winter, don't like the cold. I miss summer.

It's around 15* F here in central MN today. It was much colder yesterday, but not quite as cold as you, Malia. We do get that really cold arctic air, and have had some already this winter, but it gets really bad late January through all of February. I'm shivering with you.

Well I dunno Jenny, (cos you said I could call ya Jenny, but none of rest y'all can ) being a Hoosier in Minnesoooooooooota must be rough. But y'all all got all those lakes to go ice skatin.

The thermostat is a power struggle in my house. I like it warm, and D gets hot easy. I accuse of "Hot Flashes" when I find the gauge on 65 cause I like it on 85. She says I'm just too thin blooded and I said "what do ya expect been in Alabama since I was 11."

What would bother me as much as the cold is lack of sun. I know the days really short up there this time of year.

This time of year I don't venture very far from home, but come June I'm on the road!

Hmmm....we're right in the middle. I have kept it on an even 75F since September.

That is one of the really tough parts for sure. Before I had Lily I used to hit the tanning salon a few times a week through the winter and it helped a lot.

This time of year I don't venture very far from home, but come June I'm on the road!

well, if you're heading up this way in June, let us know

You're making me glad I live in Southern Ohio...we have winter here but never nearly that bad.

DH would like to move to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan...can you say SNOW from September till May? I actually wouldn't mind because I hear the summers aren't nearly as hot as down here. 80 degrees at the very highest.
