I'm posting this here because interest in Latin goes hand-in-hand with traditional Catholicism.
Assumption Grotto in Detroit is starting a Latin-I class with Deacon Jim Wilder who has taught the subject for over 25 years. He also holds a Masters Degree in Latin from Wayne State University.
It will be held on Friday afternoons at 4:30 and will run 1.5 - 2 hours for 7 weeks.
Dcn Jim also plans on continuing with Latin II - IV over a one year time period. He hopes to restart the cycle back at Latin I next year.
Cost will be $100 and will include materials.
