Name That Tune Game
Name That Tune
Write 5 words or less from the lyrics of a song.
The next poster guesses the tune by identifying the title of the song and writer.
Post another 3 words or less …and so on.
Fewer words = greater challenge
On with the show
-----------------------------
"my huckleberry friend"

Re: Name That Tune Game
LOL, I went with 'on with the show first;
"My huckleberry friend" is from Moon River, by Henry Mancini.
Ok, NOW,
"but who calls it livin'

Re: Name That Tune Game
no faux pas intended -
tantum ergo - you'll have to come back and tell us the song!
For the sake of moving the game along I'll try another tune.
"bits of blue and gold"

Re: Name That Tune Game
Sure . . .It Ain't Necessarily So, George Gershwin.
And now I feel old. . ."Tapestry", Carole King is your 'bits of blue and gold".
How about "A lover like any other"?

Re: Name That Tune Game
You were right--I threw that in because it's a favorite of one of my daughters; she did a cartoon on You Tube with that song and characters from Sonic the Hedgehog. It was good, too!
Now you're bringing me back to Paul McCartney with "Uncle Albert/ Admiral Halsey with the "live a little'!
