Come in, but don't get too comfortable. I don't want you staying too long. My rheumatism is acting up.

I've checked your profile, you're not nearly old enough to be a curmudgeon.

Hi Prez...I'm joinin the club. I'm feeling a bit curmudgy today.
Excuse me for commenting, already, being a new member and all...but you're looking mighty suspicious with those eyes moving to and fro.

Marie, indeed your fruitcake, especially the "enhanced" ones, are the antidote to curmudgery, so they are therefore forbidden in the club. Feel free to enjoy them in your whacky internet addict club.

Oh no, I mean ME being the new member of YOUR club. Sorry for mixing up the Prez.

But I did notice you were now King of Redundancy ( since you posted that twice) - unless you wanted to really make your point and thought 2 exact posts would do that!

I'll help out and make you feel comfortable in the area of redundancy...here:

You're.....mocking me, aren't you? For your crimes against the leader of the Curmudgeons, I hereby appoint you as Vice President. I would have appointed Marie, but she keeps smuggling that dang spiked fruitcake into here.

I could just bring the Rum and forget the cake! We only use that for Skeet Shooting anyway!

Fine, I like my cigars soaked in rum. Actually, I prefer my cigars that have been seasoned in brandy or bourbon, but rum will work.

I'm not worthy! No one can be redundant quite like you.

Besides, that does add a few more consonants to my name...jrabsvp. It has an odd look to it.

can't we PLEASE have her cake? I do love to snack.
