Default Exercise Support Thread Week of 2/22/2009

Welcome, everyone, to a new week, and another opportunity to honor God by maintaining the Temple of the Holy Spirit. Let's take this chance now to set our goals for the week.

My goal is to run 24 miles, including a 9 mile long run, which I plan to do today.

Small goals here this week. The last week and a half have been rather off track.

New exercise routine to be done each morning.

Keep track of all food eaten.

Get back to the swimming pool.

I just got back from my 9 mile run. It was good.

Hi, Vivienne. It's good to see you getting back on track.

Aw, thanks

I knew flying home last weekend was going to mess ALL my routines up, I just hoped it would not mess things up as much as it did

Anyway, it's good to be getting back to *normal*

I have been away for a few weeks but I did exercise almost every day. I went today to church, made breakfast and then off the exercise. I aim to go every day this week to exercise and hopefully also pay attention to my diet. Have a good week everyone!

That sounds like a good goal, Beautiful Me, too. I power walked again today, dd and i went around the lake. I decided against abs today, I'm tired for some reason. Had a donut after mass today. I have to do that tomorrow though...(abs that is, not more donuts)

Talk to you a little later this week...don't have specific goals other than working every day except Friday...hope you all have a good week.

Made it to the pool today, was quite keen to try for at least 20 minutes, if not my usual 30, but had to get out after 10 as they needed the lane I was using for swimming lessons

Now as for this:

I love donuts and found today that there is a Dunkin' Donut at the same centre where I go to swim. That's going to be tough, up to now the only one I knew of was about 45 minutes away, but now if I swim every day I usually find white hot chocolate drinks are way too sweet for me, but Dunkin' Donut's choco donuts, or even better the ones with berries in Oooohhh, I think I need to go to the pool again

Just swim on past Dunkin' Donuts unless you would like to do 600 calories worth of extra laps. Yup - that is what I ate and drank 'cause I drove up to the Dunkin' drive thru window.
I believe I caved in under the social pressure of the moment.
Normally I don't do drive thru windows.

You know, I didn't feel so hot after eating that donut yesterday...too much sugar. I really don't eat like that anymore.

I powerwalked yesterday, and did some yoga stretching. I really am excited to be back on top of my routine again--yippee!

That is the way to go

In the end - sugar is a downer.
