Nancy, I live with my father. He is going crazy and acusing me of stealing and all sorts of stuff. I worked up until October of 2008, and then, was laid off. My huband and I .lived here for a few years with my parents. After my loved ones died, that is when my father's hate started coming out more and more towards me. Long story, but I do not think he really loved my mother. My mother had carcinoma and I would take care of her when I got home from work, every night. My husband was here in the day time, because he worked the night shift, My father knew that and took advantage and went out everyday . I am on unemployment and do find it hard. I wanted to find a roommate to share expenses with, but in this town, I do not really trust anyone being that I know the towns reputation, I decided to stick it out and be badgered, everyday than be conned by a roomate. If you want to talk further about this, you have my email address. There are just some things that cannot be said over the internet.

Ronald Weinland is not Catholic, so I would be very cautious about believing his interpretation of Scripture about the End Times.

He claims to be a prophet for the Church of God.

He is way off base in his thinking. I only read to page 16 of his first book and I found many errors so I quit reading it after I emailed him and pointed out his errors on these first 16 pages along with my Scripture proofs to back up what I believe.

HI SHW, speaking of that I was wondering, Does the church have it's own interpertation of the end times? I herd someone say it wasn't going to end for another 5,000 years, is that true? If that is so that is a dangerous estimation, I think. Love of Christ Nancy

To tell you the truth, I cannot wait for the great chastisement to come. Maybe then, these evil people will all disappear from the face of the earth and then, we will finally be able to live in peace and love with Jesus and Mary. There will be no suffering,no unemployment, no sickness, no evil! And no worrying about rejection when applying for any knid of assistance or aid.

I am sorry for your misfortune Lmora. But please note, what is coming is the MINOR Chastisement, not the Great. The Great is the one of the end of the world. But the world is not going to end this time in history. This is the SECOND TO LAST great manifestation of sin in salvation history, the seventh, not the LAST, or eighth. Remember, the beast has EIGHT kings, not merely SEVEN: Apoc. 17:9-11;

Here are the eight stages of darkness, per the Apocalypse above:

I. The Fall and Wickedness of Noah's Day
II. Tower of Babel
III. Egypt
IV. Intermediate Jewish Apostasy
V. OT Antichrist Antiochus Epiphanies
(Five have fallen)

VI. Pagan Rome
(one is)

VII. Today, the Minor Apostasy
(and the other has not yet come, and when he does, he must continue a short space)

VIII. The NT Antichrist and Great Apostasy
(and the beast which was and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goes into perdition)

Hi Nancy,

"Coming Soon" is a very good book about the End Times by Catholic Michael Barber. It shows that most of it has already happened in 70 A.D. when Jerusalem and the temple were destroyed (God's judgment against the Jews for rejecting His Son), but some of the things will be repeated when the Antichrist comes which will most likely not happen until after you and I are dead and buried. Thanks be to God!

Enoch and Elijah will probably be the two witnesses during the time of Antichrist who are slain by him since neither of them have died yet, if this passage is meant to be literal in the Book of Revelation, and not meant to be strictly symbolic.

Not everything has been revealed about the End Times, but we do know that many Protestant versions are way off base because they promote what they call the "Rapture" and other things which the Church states are false interpretations of Scripture.

You can order this book right here at Catholic Answers Forums and help support them at the same time with your purchase:

According to prophesy:

The Chastisement may happen during our lifetime. It will include a world war which may be starting any time now, beginning with civil unrest in all the countries of the world and then escalating into a world war. The second part of the Chastisement is the Three Days Darkness. Approximately 3/4 of the world's population, which includes both the just and the unjust, will die during this Chastisement of war and Three Days Darkness.

God intervenes in this world war and the Great Monarch (who is chosen by God) is victorious and he then reigns as civil ruler along with a new pope (spiritual ruler) chosen personally by St. Peter and St. Paul (because the pope died during the war and needs to be replaced) and then everyone except for the Jews become Catholic and peace then reigns in the world until the Great Monarch dies.

Immediately after this world war ends, the rest of the enemies of God are killed in the Three Days Darkness and then the Great Monarch reigns until he is very old (He is in his 40's when he fights in the world war). Antichrist is born either at the very end of the Great Monarch's reign or shortly after he dies.

This period of peace granted to the world while the Great Monarch rules is called the triumph of Mary's Immaculate Heart which she promised at Fatima.
