Default Forum color changes when clicking links

Since the new changes went into effect, I find that on some thread links I click, it goes from the sand-colored background I chose to a sky blue background.

Is there a reason for this or is it a bug? When I clicked back from a blue thread to the forum homepage, it returned to the sand-colored background. But then I clicked my Profile to update some subscribed threads and the blue came back.

It sounds like a bug. Or am I doing something wrong?

Cool Re: Forum color changes when clicking links

Unless or until we are able to choose forum "skin" preferences again, the "sandy" colored forums are the main ones we all know and love, the "blue" forums are sub-forums from the new "groups" feature.

And, it seems, there are two ways to interface with some of the user control pages, like your profile, so that they could be sandy or blue, depending on the approach (but, I believe, address the same database, so changes made under one color will also be reflected under the other)

For more weirdness, check out the Archive link at the bottom of any (or most) page....

Is anyone having trouble submitting a reply after you have logged on?

Groups use a blue skin.

CAF is the gray/khaki skin.

Anything accessed via Groups is blue. (Groups, Group Forums, Profiles)

Anything accessed via CAF is gray/khaki. (Forums, Profiles)

It might help you to think of CA Groups as a separate site that shares some data with CAF.
