Should we respond to Christian chain letters?

I would like to know how to respond to christian chain-letters I receive from friends and family that ask me to forward e-mail to 10 friends right away and I will receive a blessing of some sort within 2 days or 1 or ? These only cause aggravation to those of us who know they are completely a waste of time. How can I send a message that tells them how misinformed they are. The bible seems to frown on this practice, please advise. I however do not wish to hurt feelings but christians need to be informed of the gospel truth.
