Exercise Support Thread Week of 3/29/2009
Greetings, friends. Welcome to a new week, and another chance to honor the Holy Spirit by maintaining His temple, our bodies. As always, let's begin the week by setting goals. I plan to run 25 miles this week, starting with a 10 mile long run today.

I think I need to get St Rita's help.
Goal setting even seems too difficult at the moment.

I just completed my 10 mile run. Now I need to go get cleaned up.
Vivienne, can set minimum goals? Maybe 2 swims this week?

I have to choose between going to the retreat Monday to Thursday evenings, or siwmming on those afternoons (not possible to get to both as each is 45 minutes from home and in the opposite directions). Think I must try to get the exercises started in the afternoons, because I'll get back from the retreat too late to be bale to get up early enough to exercise before work. And I feel as though all I'm doing is making excuses now.
Oh, well done, running 10 miles

Re: Exercise Support Thread Week of 3/29/2009
What a week! I was teaching classes all week, 60 miles from home. That makes for a long day. But Monday - Wednesday, I went straight from work to church for our parish mission. Thursday evening, we had our small faith community meeting. Friday, after work, I collapsed.
But, through it all, I managed to get in my 25 miles of running. So, the goal is met.
