Default I wish with a twist

I wish with a twist...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Post a wish.

Next poster grants your wish in a twisted way.

Then they post their wish. And so on and so forth.

Below are two examples. Example # 1 is brief and Example # 2 is more involved.

Please note, it's whatever the individual who is providing the response wants to make of it

Following the second example, to get things started, I will post a wish.

Example # 1 :

Poster 1-I wish I won the lottery.

Poster 2- ***POOF!*** Wish granted. However, after taxes you bring home only $1.00 .

Example # 2 :

Poster 1 - I wish I was a contestant on The Price is Right!

Poster 2 - ***POOF!**** Your wish was granted and you got to be a contestant on The Price Is Right.

Luckily, you made it to the Spin Off part of the show.

As you grabbed one of the pegs of The Big Wheel, you took a deep breath to give it a mighty spin.

In all of the excitement, you forgot one important thing --- to breathe out --- so you ended up fainting and missed the rest of the show.

Let's Begin !

I wish for all the laundry to be done.

Your laundry is quite well done, however, the coloureds were mixed with the whites, and everything is a bit...smudgy. Further, due to the temperature of the water, your clothes have shrunk so that they might only fit and anorexic umpa-lumpa.

I wish my windows were cleaned/washed.

I wish my windows were cleaned/washed.

***POOF*** Your wish has been granted. The supervisor of the window cleaning company told the crew that in order to make sure that there were no streaks, they were to finish each window using newspapers. He then left the job site. The crew, followed the supervisor's instructions --- literally.

Each window was completed using newspapers --- taped to every pane using all-weather seal tape.

While you were hoping that your sparkling clean windows would help make your house more presentable, you didn't think they would make headlines!

I wish I knew a baker that would give me free samples of their goodies/pastries.

***POOF*** Your wish has come true. You know a baker that gives you free samples of his goodies. But, he only bakes canine goodies.

I wish it would be warm and sunny where I live tomorrow.

Wala! I magically turned the Sky into looseleaf paper and drew a picture of the sun. See?

I wish The Boston Celtics would repeat as NBA Champions this June!

Granted, but they never win again. Ever. And they relocate their team.

I wish I could be in church 24/7.

***Granted*** Your puppy no longer chews things up. However, now your puppy has more time to pursue his other favorite activity - digging everywhere and every chance possible.

I wish I knew how to Polka.

Granted, but you're stuck with us stubborn, bad-pun telling Poles.

I wished I owned some of those sectioned square miles of land out in the midwest to build my own little town.

Pow! You're wish is granted, but your own little town revolts against you due to your hatred for the Boston Celtics

I wish I owned my own Fireworks stand.

Granted, but you live in a state that still allows smoking in public and a careless patron sends your stand halfway to the moon in a spark filled array of beauty... and then the guy sues you... and you didn't have insurance.

I wish I could be a stay at home mom.

Granted, but then she turns out to be really annoying and won't stop calling you and dropping by.

I wish I had a bigger house.

Granted, you have a bigger house. But now you are sharing it with 3 other families. None of the other families cook, clean or shop. Its all on you.

I wish I could go on a real vacation.

Aaaawwww.

Granted, you go to the beach but get your foot bitten off by a shark and spend the rest of your time in the hospital.

I wish I had a new cool iPhone.
