Default Boomer's Mickey Mouse Club

Hi, boys and girls. We are starting a new clubhouse for all of us aging baby boomers. It's 1959 and all is right with the world.

Don't get scared, Freckle, I've got my official Spin and Marty flashlight, and my Davy Crocket pocket knife, and my mouse ears are on my head. There, at least there are three of us here.... Now, how do we let the others know?

I guess my computer glitched and my message didn't get through.

I went and got a light bulb from Mom, and a broom to clean up the spider webs. An' Mom gave me this jug of water, some of her aluminum cups, and a pack of Fizzies!

Hey! Where's the rest of you guys?? If you don't come quick, I might just have to have the rootbeer Fizzies all to myself!

Wait until I find my fashion glasses. I don't need them to read, I just like to look fashionable when I read. So I have about four pair of drugstore reading glasses.

Hey! Beau! Glad you found the secret entrance to the clubhouse. How do you like it? Want some Fizzies? Or are you a Koolaid man?

You only have 4 pairs of fashion glasses? Wow! I had a pair at work and a pair at home. But now I have a pair in every room and two in some, just so I can look at the TV and then look at the sewing machine! I have my "serious" glasses in the car, so I can see street signs and the speedometer!

Then I'll take the chocolate! I bought some donuts and grapes while I was shopping; want some? Some tiny icecreams too but they're chocolate. Sorry.

It is truely a crewel wirld when you cain't haff chawklit! At least I can still have my coffee--until some doc tells me different!

When you use those straffs, though, don't pull it out of the milk, and try to look into 'em. Thats' how I got pink aaaall over my gramma's pretty yeller ceiling, and then my Mom had to climb a stool to reach up to wipe it off, before gramma got home. An' Mom was suspecting my little sister at the time. We were living at gramma an' grampa's, taking care of the place, while they went back to the old country for a visit.

I'll try some grapes, please. I can haff them, but not the grapefruits! Thanks, they look great.

You want some Fizzies, Freckle?
