Exercise Support Thread Week of 5/3/2009
Howdy, folks. It's time to start a new thread. I should have more time this week to participate. Anyway, let's set our goals for the week. I'm planning to run 26 miles this week, including an 11 mile long run, which I plan to do this morning.

Re: Exercise Support Thread Week of 5/3/2009
Michael, your running goals make me feel tired just reading them.
I swam for 35 minutes today, as well as starting a tummy flattening regime this morning, and climbed those stairs 5 times today (I'll go up them at least 5 times every day this week as I have a morning duty )
The increased activity is reducing the horrible water retention that was so obvious on my feet and ankles.
My goals: to keep up the tummy flattening exercises and to swim for 35 minutes all the weekdays this week.

Vivienne, your goals are awesome. I'm impressed.
I managed to run 11 miles non-stop this morning. It felt really good. And it's a good start to the week.

 Thank you!
Of course the stair-climbing is not voluntary
And when I convert your impressive miles to kilometres and then think "well, that's from abc to xyz" I'm

Re: Exercise Support Thread Week of 5/3/2009
Well, the 11 miles is a training run for the 13.1 mile race I'll be running in just 5 weeks. Next Sunday I plan to run 12 miles. That's about 19.3 km.

............And I'm still awed by the distances you run (thanks for doing the conversion for me )
Now it's late, and this is my 3,366th post, a nice looking number on which to retire for the night.

Re: Exercise Support Thread Week of 5/3/2009
Where's everyone been all week? I reached my goals, but the problems with my laptop have continued, and that has left me little time to get on CAF.
Anyway, it's time for a new thread here.
