Default Exercise Support Thread Week of 5/10/2009

Happy Mother's Day everyone? Welcome to a new week. It's time to set our goals for the week. I'm going to try to run 27 miles this week, including a 12 mile long run. This would be my longest run ever, outside of a race. I'm going to attempt it today.

Who's next?

Good luck with that run, Michael. Umm, that laptop:

Only swam 3 times last week, but have increased the time by 5 minutes.
Exercised every weekday morning, as the programme requires (I quite like having weekends off)

This week:
Swim 4 times; exercise every weekday morning; drink 2,5 litres of water daily (only if I run around as much at work as I did today I won't have time to drink anything).

Hi, Vivienne;

I made it! I ran 12 miles (19.3 km) this morning. The last 3 miles were hard, but I kept going.

Welcome back, Nick. We've missed you. A couple months ago they went to a standard template for the forum. I'm still trying to get used to it.

I've been keeping up my goals this week. I've run 21 miles so far, with just 6 to go. I'm in San Francisco all week, so I'm running on the hotel treadmill.

I haven't kept a single exercise or dietary goal since probably January. And my body shows it. It's not pretty right now. Hopefully today can start a new trend. Here's the rest of my week.

Today - TKD
Tomorrow - TKD & possibly run or weights
Sat - TKD & run & possibly weights
Sun - Bike or run

Are you running the Bay to Breakers on Sunday?

Bay to Breakers? Never heard of it. I'm heading home tonight. I'll be running a half marathon on June 6th. I'm recruiting cheerleaders for the finish line. Anyone interested?

I just finished my 3 mile run, so I've reached my goal of 27 miles for the week.
