Default JPII Quote

I hope it is ok that I started a thread. I was thinking it would be nice to get a little lesson here and there from him. I know I need all the help I can get, and I am sure he is watching this fan club. Perhaps we can ask him to protect it and guide us in our efforts to grow in perfection daily....Have a blessed day all,

May Our Lady wrap her mantle of love around this fan club and may John Paul II hear our prayers for his intercession and that he may be glorified in heaven with the help of his fans prayers. As he took everything to Mary so may we. Our surest route to Our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus we trust in you. Amen

Have no fear of moving into the unknown. Simply step out fearlessly knowing that I am with you, therefore no harm can befall you; all is very, very well. Do this in complete faith and confidence.
Pope John Paul II

Pope John Paul's prayer to the Holy Spirit.

"Come, Holy Spirit, come and renew the face of the earth! Come with your
seven gifts! Come, Spirit of Life, Spirit of Communion and Love! The Church and
the world need you. Come, Holy Spirit, and make ever more fruitful the charisms
you have bestowed on us. Give new strength and missionary zeal to these sons and
daughters of yours.... Open their hearts; renew their Christian commitment to
the world. Make them courageous messengers of the Gospel, witnesses to the risen
Jesus Christ, the Redeemer and Savior. Strengthen their love and their fidelity
to the Church." Amen!

Wars generally do not resolve the problems for which they are fought and therefore... prove ultimately futile.

To maintain a joyful family requires much from both the parents and the children. Each member of the family has to become, in a special way, the servant of the others. Pope John Paul The Great

The Pope's last audible words, on hearing tens of thousands of young people singing in St. Peter's Square as he lay in his deathbed, Friday, April 1, 2005:

"I sought you out and now you come to me. Thank you."

I love this quote too!
In Polish, see how lovely it is:
„Szukałem was. Wy teraz przyszliscie do mnie za to wam dziękuję"

Whenever I hear it, I just feel like I'm about to cry.

Hi Petite Teacup There's just something so lovely and simple about it. Like he's talking to a group of old friends.
