Default Exercise Support Thread Week of 6/14/2009

I can't believe we've reached the 3rd week of June already. This month is going fast. Of course, being a new week, it's time to set our workout goals for the week. I'm back to my normal schedule now, so my goal is to run 23 miles this week, including an 8 mile long run, scheduled for today.

Who's next?

I'm here too, but I'm sort of lurking, setting goals has not worked because I have had to spend so many afternoons unexpectedly doing work stuff. Then I get double frustrated because I have to work and because I can't get to swim. I'll just have to take what I can and report back on what really happens instead.

Vivienne, it's about time you showed up. Well, if you need a fluid plan, then go with the flow, right?

Heather, I see you're back in New York. What triggered that move? How is it, being "back home"?

11 Months?!?!? That's awesome. What an opportunity. That'll pay for the move, and some living expenses while he finds a new job.

My pun reservoir has completely dried up.

So far, the week is going well. I'm at 14 miles, with 9 to go.

Discovered this thread today. Don't know if there is an application process for this group but here goes:

Today worked out by "boxing" 10 3-minute rounds wtih the heavy bag with 1-minute rest periods. Once I go back to work in 2 days, I'll return to the gym. I'll do the 30-minute circuit training routine followed by 10 minutes on the gazelle, 10 minutes on the treadmill and 10 minutes on the elliptical.

From March 2008 I have gone from 211# to 186# today.

Does that count?
Joe
