Re: Are religion and education incompatible?
Dear Perry,
How appropriate on the feast of St. Thomas Aquinas! Certainly, St. Thomas is evidence that one can be highly educated and not only be religious, but holy as well.
Further, those dioceses and religious communities that are loyal to the Magisterium, have a strong prayer-life and are faithful to their own charisms have no recruiting problems. The Nashville Dominicans and the Ann Arbor
Dominicans are bursting at the seems with so many vocations and are both in the midst of mother-house expansions. The latter community is known as the Dominicans of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist. Both groups are in need of funds to complete their current endeavors. Donations are welcome and benefactors receive many prayers!
