Default Perpetual prayer thread for our beloved priests

OH Lord, Right now all over the Us priests have received their new assignments. Please watch over our beloved priests. Preserve them in Holiness and grant them all the graces their lives require. Grant us parishioners love and patience with our priests as they get to know us and teach us. Send us more young ,devoted and energetic priests ,so that no parish has to go without care. In Jesus' Holy name we pray:

OUR FATHER WHO ART IN HEAVEN.
HALLOWED BE THY NAME.
THY KINGDOM COME,THY WILL BE DONE
ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN.
GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD
AND FORGIVE US OUR TRESPASSES
AS WE FORGIVE THOSE WHO TRESPASS AGAINST US.
AND LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION, BUT
DELIVER US FROM EVIL!
AMEN!

Prayer for Priests
by St. Therese of Lisieux

O Jesus, eternal Priest, keep your priests within
the shelter of Your Sacred Heart, where none may touch them.
Keep unstained their anointed hands, which daily touch Your Sacred Body.
Keep unsullied their lips, daily purpled with your Precious Blood.
Keep pure and unearthly their hearts, sealed with the sublime mark of the priesthood.
Let Your holy love surround them and shield them from the world's contagion.
Bless their labors with abundant fruit and may the souls to whom they minister
be their joy and consolation here and in heaven their beautiful and everlasting crown.
Amen.

Please Pray for Priests

Dear Lord,
we pray that the Blessed Mother
wrap her mantle around your priests
and through her intercession
strengthen them for their ministry.

We pray that Mary will guide your priests
to follow her own words,
"Do whatever He tells you" (John2:5).

May your priests have the heart of St Joseph,
Mary's most chaste spouse.

May the Blessed Mother's own pierced heart
inspire them to embrace
all who suffer at the foot of the cross.

May your priests be holy,
filled with the fire of your love
seeking nothing but your greater glory
and the salvation of souls.
Amen.

Saint John Vianney, pray for us.

Almighty God, look upon the face of Jesus who is the eternal High Priest, and have compassion on Your priests in today‘s world. They are but weak and frail human beings. Stir up in them the grace of their vocation. Keep them close to You so the enemy may not prevail against them, so that they may never do anything in the slightest degree unworthy of their sublime vocation. O Jesus, keep them all close to Your heart and bless them abundantly both now and in eternity. Amen.

O Mary, Queen of the Clergy, pray for us; obtain for us many and holy priests.

For our priests

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done, on earth, as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death. Amen.

please now intercede with your divine Son

Prayer for Priests

Eternal God, please bless our priests, who represent you on this earth. Make them more greatly aware of the grace that you pour out through them when they minister the sacraments, and help them to fall more deeply in love with You after each and every Mass that they celebrate. Please strengthen our priests, who shepherd your flock, when they are in doubt of their faith, that they may be examples of your Truth and guide us always on the path to you. We ask these things of You our Eternal Priest. Amen.

A Prayer for Priests

O my Most Sweet Jesus, O Jesus, Eternal High Priest, keep Your priests in the shelter of Your Sacred Heart, where no one can hurt them. Keep their anointed hands unsullied, which daily handle Your Sacred Body. Keep pure the lips which are reddened with Your Precious Blood. Keep pure and unworldly their hearts which are sealed with the sublime token of Your glorious priesthood. Cause them to grow in love and loyalty to You and protect them from the contamination of the world. With their power of transforming bread and wine, give them the power of transforming hearts. Bless their work with rich fruit and grant them one day the crown of eternal life. Amen.
