Not just a priest, alone in a parish, but a priest, religious, and consecrated laity working together...........in keeping with the teachings of the Church.
I was fortunate to have attened a Mass celebrated by a newly ordained SOLT priest - and it was the most reverent Mass I have ever attended. (And I go to daily Mass at a Trappist Abbey) He spoke very much in the manner of Fr. Corapi.......I have not heard a SOLT priest who didn't speak the Truth............
Like all organizations they need support - they have actually had to ask seminarians to leave because they couldn't afford to keep them in the seminary. If interested you can find out more about them on their SOLT website.
Thanking God for the gift of priests, and praying for their courage and perserverence in difficult days.

Amen, Karol! I am so grateful that Fr. Corapi has touched so many lives. He just radiates Jesus.

Re: My growing in Faith with Father Corapi
I like to watch Fr. Corapi's programs. I love/hate 1) his jokes, 2) army stories, 3) 9/11 stories.
Usually what he says goes straight into my brain and I need it.
A lot of EWTN programming is a light year better than anything else on TV.

Re: My growing in Faith with Father Corapi
Fr. Corapi tells it like it should be told - not the same old 'fluff' I have heard in my liberal Catholic church for the past five years.
He's absolutely wonderful!.

In my earlier days, when I wasn't in the state of grace, I would find his voice irritating, but then one day I finally HEARD what he was saying. Now, I think his voice is soothing and melodic. I don't think I am alone in saying this, because I have had a really hard time getting family to listen to him and they often cite his voice as the primary reason. I wonder if you are living in sin, it actually pains you to hear the TRUTH. Just a thought.
I am really disappointed that I could not attend his conference this past August. Did anyone here go?

I have paid $100s for his CDs, and I used to think they were expensive. Now I think they are worth every penny.

Re: My growing in Faith with Father Corapi
Father Corapi is one of the top 5s of my heroes. He is the best! I have been blessed to expereince him 5 times at different concerts in Buffalo, Rochester, etc through the years.
He touches my heart like no one else. i cried 2 years ago when he left and I cried when I saw him again this past August. He is a prophet for our times. We do need to wake up!
I have been blessed to expereince Fr Groeschel also. I had to laugh when he said at least 9 times throughout the conference....STUPID CATHOLICS! I laughed and laughed!! I love him too and both men are truly holy.
May God bless all priests...they are indispensable. We need them and they need us.

I've always found his voice soothing, even when not in a state of grace...I wonder why?
