Default Losing our house

My family has been unable to keep up with our mortgage payments and our lender has decided to auction off our house on December 9th. We've been trying to renegotiate our lease, but to no avail. Please pray that God will soften their hearts and that somehow we will be allowed to stay in our house.

Thank you my brothers and sisters,

J Smith

Please Mother Mary -- intercede with those hard of heart who wish to take this family's home and bring them sensitivity and compassion so that they may find a way to work with them to save their home. I pray in the name of Mary and Jesus -- Amen

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespresses,
as we forgive those that trespress against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen

Hail Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners, now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen

Glory be to the Father
and to the Son
and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning
is now and ever shall be
world without end.
Amen

Dearest J~ Right there with you. It's absolutely terrifying. I'm so thankful you posted the prayer request. You see, my husband and child are both handicapped & we too are struggling with this. The word struggling is an understatement, though. It's indescribable.

You, your family and those you are dealing with are in my prayers and will remain so. Tonight, I posted Psalm 6 (a Penitential Psalm) and a Prayer of Trust in the Sacred Heart at the "For those whose suffering seems endless" topic. Maybe reading them & other prayers there will help.~ http://forums.catholic.com/showthread.php?p=5991992#post5991992

Also for you, the Litany of St. Joseph~

~+~
Lord, have mercy on us. Christ, have mercy on us.
Lord, have mercy on us.Christ, hear us. Christ, graciously hear us.
God the Father of Heaven, have mercy on us.
God the Son, Redeemer of the world, have mercy on us.
God, the Holy Spirit, have mercy on us.
Holy Trinity, One God, have mercy on us.

Holy Mary, pray for us.
Saint Joseph, pray for us.
Illustrious son of David, pray for us.
Light of Patriarchs, pray for us.
Spouse of the Mother of God, pray for us.
Chaste guardian of the Virgin, pray for us.

Pillar of families, pray for us.
Solace of the afflicted, pray for us.
Hope of the sick, pray for us.

Lamb of God, who takest away the sins of the world, spare us, O Lord.
Lamb of God, who takest away the sins of the world, graciously hear us, O Lord.
Lamb of God, who takest away the sins of the world, have mercy on us.

He made him lord over His house,
And the ruler of all His possessions.

Let us pray.
O God, who in Thine ineffable providence didst vouchsafe to choose blessed Joseph to be the spouse of Thy most holy Mother: grant, we beseech Thee, that we may have him for an intercessor in heaven, whom we venerate as our protector on earth: Who livest and reignest world without end. Amen.

I'm praying for you, J. Please pray for us and the thousands of others, too..
May God help us!

Thank you all so much for your prayers, they mean a lot to me.

I ask that anyone who prays for me also include BriarRose, who is in the same situation as my family.

For you I pray,

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known
That any one who fled to your protection, implored your help
Or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired with this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother.
To you I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful;
O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions,
But in your clemency hear and answer me.
Amen.

Ave Maria, gratia plena, Dominus tecum.
Benedicta tu in mulieribus,
et benedictus fructus ventris tui, Iesus.
Sancta Maria, Mater Dei,
ora pro nobis peccatoribus, nunc,
et in hora mortis nostrae.
Amen.

Pater noster, qui es in caelis:
sanctificetur Nomen Tuum;
adveniat Regnum Tuum;
fiat voluntas Tua,
sicut in caelo, et in terra.
Panem nostrum cotidianum da nobis hodie;
et dimitte nobis debita nostra,
Sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris;
et ne nos inducas in tentationem;
sed libera nos a Malo.
Amen

Lord, please, I beg you to help JSmith and BriarRose to keep their houses. May their lawyers be able to negotiate something with their lenders - and soon. Soften the hearts of the people who want to possess their houses, move them to compassion, and let them know the feeling of doing something excellent for those in need. May they spare JSmith and BriarRose from the pain of losing their homes and know the joy of being a faithful steward. Please intervene, Lord, and move the hearts of those individuals who can save these people from losing their houses. Please also help keep JSmith and BriarRose strong in faith, hope and love by saturating them with your graces in the Sacraments they receive, and never let them be separated from you. Thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayer. Amen.

I'm terribly sorry. We lost ours a few years ago, so I'll beg the Lord for any way you can save yours...or if reality is too set against you, that God will provide. However, I implore You Lord to move the minds of the lenders to re-negociate the loan

For J, who with so many stresses of your own, thinks of others in their time of need. In my prayers, you remain. Humble thanks to you and to everyone else here for including me in your prayers during this time of travail.

Such saintly faith-filled hearts, each a Simon of Cyrene,
helping to bear the weight of the wood.

May God Bless & Keep you safe!

Praying for you. We're going through the same thing right now. We've been trying for TWO YEARS to negotiate with the bank and they are impossible. I can't understand why they'd rather lose all that money by taking our house than budge on their ridiciulous payment plan (doubles our h. payment!) with a customer willing/able to pay! It makes no sense.

Anyway, don't give up yet. try https://www.naca.com/index_main.jsp

They can intervene even if you have an auction date. I've heard good things about them and believe they are legit. We may be using them as a last resort ourselves.
