Will we know each other in heaven?
This question was recently asked of me by my Protestant nephew. My first thoughts took me the story of the rich man and Lazarus and how the rich man clearly saw Abraham and Lazarus and spoke to them from across the great abyss. The other was when Moses and Elijah were standing with our Lord on the mountain and conversing with him. I was wondering if there are any scriptures that indicate if we will know each other in heaven?

Re: Will we know each other in heaven?
I don't know of any scripture without doing the research. I certainly think we will know everyone in Heaven. Just think at all the stories we will be able to hear and watch. We will have plenty of time to really get to know one another don't you think?????

Re: Will we know each other in heaven?
I believe we will still remember from our previous lives, but there are a lot of new people there, so in the end, we'll know everyone. Even if forget everything about this live (which I doubt), in time, we'll know each other again.

Re: Will we know each other in heaven?
Like you I thought of the rich man and Lazarus. I am sure we will know and love each other however, it wont be the same kind of love as it is here on earth. Married men and women will not be married in Heaven. We will be too busy worshiping and loving The Father.

Re: Will we know each other in heaven?
Certainly if Heaven is the true presence of God, His complete union with us, paradise beyond what we can possibly understand, then all of the good things of this world will be made perfect there, no? And certainly relationships with one another will still exist, without the secrets, hypocrisy, hatred, etc. that plague this life. So the answer would be yes, we will still know each other, but in a deep, perfect and different way than we do here on earth.
Peace and blessings,
Frank
