Help with quotes????????
How do you respond with a portion of someones quote. I end up resending the whole message when a sentence or two would do? If you could send on your knowledge I would be most grateful.

Delete the part that you don't want to include.
Either use the backspace key. Or hi-lite the part you want to delete with your mouse and then hit the delete key.
(There are other ways to do it, but these are probably the easiest.)

Click on the "Quote" icon at the bottom right of the message; delete what you don't want out of the message by backspacing or highlighting and cutting (Ctr-X); make sure you leave the beginning (Quote) and ending (/Quote) codes from the quoted message.

Re: Help with quotes????????
I've seen a couple of messages with quotes from three or four messages. Can you tell me how this is done (without actually having to type in the code)?
Thanks.

Like this?
(I did it by opening two reply windows via the quote button in two different tabs of Netscape and then a bit of cutting and pasting from one tab to another. Ditch IE and move to the world of tabbed browsing!)

It's like opening two different windows in IE. Thanks. I see it works.
Thanks, squirt. A bit tedious, but I get the idea now.
