Bro - go get yourself a nap. I would do the same if I were home today.

It's a pretty day here. Sun is shining and sky is blue. That does not happen often in my area.
All you folks with snow, hang in there and keep on shoveling. Enjoy the day off. The rest of us are grateful we are not getting hammered and offer you our sympathies.

Well, this snow was easier to shovel than the previous blizzard. Although, the bottom of the snow is starting to compact and turn into ice.

That's the worst part.

No snow here, but I heard there's a chance for snow tomorrow.

Had a meeting with my pastor today (who is also the Director of Vocations) about my continued discernment. It went well.

Well,I was all positioned on the sofa to watch Frasier this morning at 9 and the next thing I knew was it was almost noon and I have a horrible sore throat - I guess from snoring.

The sleet has started here. I hope DW gets home from school before too long. People down here have NO idea about how to drive in ice and snow.

I let Newt out earlier and had a cat escapee who was clawing at the window to be let back in in under a minute. It is cold and raw outside. Zooey, you were up late last night too.

Wow, it sounds like I traded places with everyone. I'm usually a night owl and stay up till 12-1AM. Last night, I couldn't even function after 10.

And a snowplow (that was an amazing sight to watch! Pushing 2-3 feet of snow. Looked like an ocean wave) created a 4x6x2 feet block of snow and ice in front of the driveway.

I've always wanted to drive a snowplow.

My schedule has gotten so screwed up it is not even funny. I read until after 1 this morning and simply could not fall asleep. I am used to going to bed early and getting up early. I normally get up around 5:15 and am in bed by 9 - 9:30. I have never been a night owl.

I also can't take naps without it affecting my sleep cycle so that 2 1/2 hour nap I had this morning has me concerned.

Both sons have the same problem. Youngest son is at home and even though he had his stereo turned down, I could hear the thump, thump of his sub-woofers.

Thanks for all the prayers for Ben. He is doing as well as he can. It will be about 3 months before he is healed from the surgery, but they have had him moving around a little today. He has a broken arm and ankle. We are thankful that he is alive, but he's in a world of trouble because the accident was his fault. Don't want to get into it, but we have gone between fear, peace that he's okay and then wanting to smack him Oh to be young and dumb and not think that anything bad is ever going to happen to you! Not sure of the injuries to the other driver. I do know he needed surgery too, but that's about all. I guess the guy was driving a Porsche, did I spell that right? Anyway, I guess they don't hold up well in an accident! My brother is going to email me photos, I'll post them if I can. From what I read in the paper the front end of the car was pushed up into the dashboard It's amazing to me that they are alive..Thank you God!

Oh, and I'm sick of snow!!!!!!

Just finished shoveling the 4x6x2 foot block of ice in the driveway. The State of Maryland has liberal leave in effect. Everything else is still closed tomorrow.

I won a breakdancing competition along with a cash prize tonight. It's not like I have skill (this was at a company party), but hey, now I get to buy some toys for my car

I fell asleep on the sofa earlier tonight and woke up around 12:30 with a sore throat. I am now wide awake. I don't know where DW put the cough drops but I could sure use one. I am wide awake. We have rain and sleet outside.

My doctor did respond to the office. He did not send a copy of his letter to me as I requested. Got a letter from the office in today's mail. They are requiring that he send a letter every month. How well do you think this is going to go over with my doc?

The new administrator at least had the common courtesy to wish that I was getting better.

Morning, Mudgies and Junkies!

Bro, I hope you are asleep right now.

The alien escaped and is loose in the warehouse! We are concerned lest it find the indoor firing range and all our weapons...

Here is coffee with sawdust for those who want fiber:

Tea with a ground-up mummy from the warehouse, for fiber:

This is regular tea with swampwater for those abstaining from fiber (speculating that perhaps some have a need to abstain from fiber, on the theory that if you want it bad enough, maybe you should deny your craving or you Just Don't Like Fiber. If so, then Well....Humph..)

This is sawdust pizza on a steel plate. The alien totally wrecked the box we built and so I am going to cut it up and use it in Mudgie pastries. Have some iron in your diet
