Default Hymns to St. Patrick

With St. Patrick's Day approaching I was wondering if anyone had a good list - be it short or long - of Hymns written by or about St. Patrick.

I love trad Irish music (both in its republican and folk forms) but wanted to add to the mix some Hymns to the Saint. I know of "Hail Glorious St. Patrick", but wanted to know if there were any others?

Many thanks,

Anthony

This one called St Patrick's Breastplate is not 'to' him as such but still could be a good one for the feast day.

So after doing some more research I found a fantastic few pieces on St. Patrick.

- Rebecca Tavener & William Taylor "Apostle of Ireland - A Medieval Office for St. Patrick"

A fantastic trip into the Middle Ages with Latin Vespers, Matins, and Lauds dedicated to the Apostle of Ireland.

The second thing I found was a composition by Tim Keyes in which he did a concert with several variations of St. Patrick's Breastplate. I could not find an album of these, but You Tube has excellent versions of them. I particularly loved II, III and V.

I hope these help reorient some to the true meaning of the Feast day.

Cheers,

Anthony

How about The Wild Rover. Well, it may not be about St Patrick, ...

My "St. Patrick's Day Mix" is already 700 songs deep covering many hits like Wild Rover and themes of love, loss, drinking, rebellion, humor and the like. I was trying to add a more spiritual theme to it, and found some.
