Hmmmm. What a telling move. The philosophical boundaries have been altered and the self discipline required to survive ignoring this will now have to apply to ignoring this as well. I hope you don't moind me bringing this to the attention of those who come here. After all, if they have mastered the art of ignoring this, then this thread should pose no problem. However, having said this, it should be pointed out that those who cannot ignore this must go back to this to recieve adequate instruction on how to ignore this, or else they will wander from the true path. However, once they are back amongst this, they will have to ignore it. Sort of circular, aint it!! Any way, let's have no more of that, which is what the OP in his dastardly devious frame of mind, has requested. Please take notice of this, or else the wrath of the OP will be upon you and you will be forced back to this for not ignoring that.

However, the same basic principles always apply.

Just keep doing this

Can someone tell me why all those people down there are squinting?

On second thoughts, you'd better ignore that.

'Did you get that Max?'
'Almost everything Chief.'
'Well what didn't you get?'
'Everything after "Hmmmm."
'Well just ignore that.'

Just commenting on yer signature which says, "I used to be indecisive, but now I'n not so sure" really ties in quite nicely.

Well I certainly feel like Maxwell Smart!

How can I possibly ignore THAT while I am concurrently ignoring THIS???

Next, you will tell me I must ignore SOMETHING!

An aside: when my second daughter was a tot, she would complain each evening that she wanted Something Else for dinner. I told her when she could find a can of Something Else in the store, I would happily serve it for dinner.

Wonder what she tell the Master Sergeant in the chow hall at night???

I am sure he IGNORES HER!!!

If he's a that you just ignore him Peggy. If he continues with this behaviour, you don't have to ignore him. See, easy peesy.

Got that part, John. But what if he is really a she, or an it? Then what? When does an he/she/it become a that, as opposed to a this? How about a this or that becoming an other, as in this, that, or the other?

Is his/her/its behavior a clue as to which he/she/it is? Was it the laughing that it/she/he wrote that is the that that I have to ignore here?

When is that that as opposed to this that?

Those red-neck bovines look like they could have sprung from the mind of Gary Larson.

I can ignore this or that, because I'm ignorant. I'm also too poor to pay attention.
