Prayer for a loved one who passed away
I ask for prayers for a family member who passed away, and for my family members who are very upset by this event.

Re: Prayer for a loved one who passed away
May angels lead this loved one into paradise; upon your arrival, may the martyrs receive you and lead you to the holy city of Jerusalem. May the ranks of angels receive you, and with Lazarus, the poor man, may you have eternal rest. Amen

Re: Prayer for a loved one who passed away
God our Father,
Your power brings us to birth,
Your providence guides our lives,
and by Your command we return to dust.
Lord, those who die still live in Your presence,
their lives change but do not end.
We pray in hope fo rher family,
relatives and friends,
and for all the dead known to You alone.
In company with Christ,
Who died and now lives,
may they rejoice in Your kingdom,
where all our tears are wiped away.
Unite us together again in one family,
to sing Your praise forever and ever.
Amen.

Re: Prayer for a loved one who passed away
for Angel7's family and departed loved one,
Eternal rest grant to him (her), O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him (her); May his (her) soul and the soul of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace.
MEMORARE,
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To thee do I come; before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful.
O mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen

Re: Prayer for a loved one who passed away
Hail Mary, full of grace.
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
