I was thinking of that myself. When my blood sugar drops I can't even see straight. I don't know if thats what Terri is undergoing, or if they monitor her blood sugar but its absolutely horrible to go through, and hypoglycemia itself can lead to coma and death..

There is no way that Felos is going to allow any evidence to exist that would suggest anything but a "peaceful" and "euphoric" passing. For this same reason, there won't be any autopsies either. The paper trail is being carefully orchestrated so that this can be the test case for future "right to die" cases. I believe that's the only reason Felos took the case.

Re: This may sound ghoulish, but
I would observe, in conclusion, that most of the "treatments" described in this Exit Protocol are in fact not directed at easing the patient's true condition, but in masking the symptoms of dying by starvation and dehydration. These treatments are designed to create the appearance of a peaceful "slipping away", when nothing of the sort is happening. The medications hide the fact that the patient undergoes a lengthy and painful deterioration, in which his/her body wastes away cruelly. Remember this the next time you hear or read someone say that Terri should be "allowed" to die.

Is there any hard evidence that any of this is even being done for Terri?

Re: This may sound ghoulish, but
I read the exit protocol. Give me a break. A little Aleve and some valium. The valium is just enough to keep her slightly sedated, but it won't help the pain much. It will, however, reduce her ability to express discomfort. Why not morphene or oxycontin - something that would really help her if she's in pain? Anyway, I'm not convinced they're doing anything for her.

If I hear one more Talking Head try and tell us about how common this is and how it has no tangible effect on her, my TV is going to fly through the window!! At the very least, I don't want anyone to be able to deny what really happened here.

That would be so agaist the law, but with cell phone cameras and what not, perhaps you are right. I wouldn't be surprised.
