Trying to ad an Avatar
I am trying to add an avatar, but it doesn't seem to want to show up. Anyone know what I may be doing wrong?

I believe that you can only add those from the "stock" list. At least that is how it is for someone with my post count

Thank for replying.
I tried to add the pic of Jesus from the list and I did save, but it does not come up. Any suggestions?
Thanks,

Re: Trying to ad an Avatar
I am still trying to figure out why my avatar is not showing up when I initiate a thread or reply to one. Yet when I go in the edit it, it shows up. Any ideas?????

That's odd, as so am I, and I see it fine all the time.
Have you tried upgrading to the latest version?
It is just your av that you are not seeing, right?

Yes, I think I have the latest version, I just upgraded not long ago. My understanding is I just go in to edit avatar, select and save. Is there anything else I should be doing and don't know about?
I just checked it out in Internet Explorer and I can see it. Wonder what the problem is with Firefox.

Nope. That should be it....
You are talking about your avatar of our Lord, right?

Yes, the Face of Jesus. I can see it in Internet Explorer, but not in Firefox.

Re-install the latest version of FF. It absolutely has to be Firefox.
OR
Quote:
1. At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Tools menu, and select Options
2. Select the Content panel.
3. Make sure there is a check mark next to Load images automatically
4. Click on Exceptions next to Load images automatically to open the Exceptions - Images window.
5. In the Exceptions - Images window, look at the list of sites. Make sure the sites with which you're having trouble are not in the list.
6. Click Close to Close the Exceptions - Images window.
7. Click OK to close the Options window

Although this may not work, as you should not be able to see any avatar...
OR
If the above doesn't work, check out the discussion HERE

Thanks for your help, I will try to reinstall, as soon as I learn how to do that, but I will just access the forum through Internet Explorer until then. Thanks again
