Meet and Greet #57
Welcome to CAF!
Tell us a little about yourself.
For newcomers, just click the "Post Reply" button located just above this message. A "post reply" editor will then appear. Type your message and hit the "Submit Reply" button.
Feel free to then wander around and check things out.
Again, thanks for joining us here at Catholic Answers Forums.
May God bless you and yours,
........................................
p.s., Want to start a new conversation ("thread") or ask a question? Here's how it's done:
- Find a forum that covers your topic. There's a list on CAF's home page.
- Enter the forum by clicking its name. You'll then see a list of conversations or topics (called "threads" in forum-speak).
- Look for the "New Thread" button at the top of this list. Click it to start your own topic.
- You will then see a standard text editor. Just enter a title and a description of what you want to talk about. Click "submit" and you're all done.
p.p.s, the earlier Meet and Greet #56 is located here.

Re: Meet and Greet #56
Hello! I'm Jeanine and am a 36-year-old Catholic in the SE United States. I was baptized Catholic as a baby and could not imagine another Christian path (even though I know that, technically, all paths lead to God).
Blessings....Jeanine

Thank you for letting me be a member. I look forward to learning from this site! Sometimes it is embarrassing to ask someone face to face certain questions.

Re: Meet and Greet #56
As a Cradle Catholic, I haven't always been the best at explaining the Caholic faith. I lived in North Carolina and Virginia for several years and met dozens of Fundamentalists. They got me into the habit of suggesting good Catholic books that answer basic questions that many non-Catholics have about the faith. I strongly recommend anything written by Dr. Scott Hahn. He has been able to explain some of the deepest subjects so well that even I can understand them! Check out Dr. Hahn's two books - "The Lamb's Supper", and "Hail, Holy Queen". Excellent easy reading on the Mass, and the Blessed Mother!

Re: Meet and Greet #56
Hello! My name is Daniel and it is a pleasure to be a new member of this forum. I am married to Mary and we have a 10-year-old son, Sean. We moved to Azusa, CA recently after having lived in Pasadena, CA. I still work in Pasadena as the Financial Manager of the California-Pacific United Methodist Foundation (I'm the token Catholic...ha!) I am a convert, having been a Catholic for 10 years now. It is the best decision I've made!
