Default May God Have Mercy on Us

May He not give us the kind of leader that we have come to deserve, especially those of us in the West, through our rebellion and self-will.

May He have mercy on His Church and give us a leader who will zealously defend the Faith and unite the faithful.

I pray that God will give us a strong Pontiff, one who will reign the dissidents back in line and strengthen the Holy Catholic Church...

...but not yet. God save Pope John Paul II

It's 3 pm on Friday.

Eternal Father, I offer you the body and the blood
soul, and divinity of your dearly beloved son
our Lord Jesus Christ
in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world
for the sake of His sorrowful passion
have mercy on us and on the whole world
