Default Don't buy into the hate

I implore you, as a measure of respect for our Holy Father, do not let your emotions rule your reasoning. Don't respond to bait, and don't ask the moderator to delete them. They gain power when we reduce ourselves to their level. I can guarantee these are plants from Former Catholics for Christ.

Do not give the father of all lies power over us in the hour of our grief.

Funny...

I don't remember Jesus happily announcing every HATING anything, ever.

Hate is the emotion completely devoid of Love. HATE is the emotion of Satan, and Its legions.

Watch it when you feel HATE creep into your mind and soul. Satan is actively working at that moment.

Pray for the HATERS who are in more need of prayer than the followers of Christ.

Thank you.

I just posted this on another thread moment before you created this one.

I concur. It may be to do, but it is best to ignore their posts and simply pray for them! Talk about challenging!

Remember, God still loves them, and our recently departed pope is praying for them right now himself!

Peace,

Gordon

Oh, I think such threads should stay too, in order to point up the difference between those who can offer nothing but hatred for others in their time of grief and those who can forgive them, as Jesus taught us to do.

So, bring it on those who hate the Church and the Holy Father. Jesus was hated too by closeminded people in his time, as well.

Maybe you should ask yourself why you feel hatred for your "enemy". Why is it you can have no love for him as Jesus commanded us to have?
