Re: "24" question: VP in on the plan?
Sooo, ever since last night when Chloe rocked that terrorist with her smackdown, I've been wondering who the actress is that portrays her. I did a little google search and realized she is at heart a comedic actress--which sort of makes sense to me, given that she plays the annoying character so perfectly. But anyway, I came across this 13 minute indie film that she was in called The Girls Guitar Club and it is VERY, VERY funny...sort of a girl version of Napoleon Dynamite. It's posted for free on the internet, so here it is: (turn on your volume first, the guitar lyrics start playing immediately and they are hilarious)

I no longer think VP is in on the whole plan. I wonder what is going to happen to him though? Maybe ex-president Palmer and Jack will hatch some sort of plan to make him disappear? Whatever will I do when this season is over?
p.s. Good work Abby---I'll check "Chloe" out after I get done with kid bath time.
God Bless

It's a parody of the "sensitive" singer/songwriter earnestly trying to "experience" the artistic endeavor that making music affords.
The humor is odd but it's a dead-on spoof of how intense indigo-girls-wannabes can be.

Re: "24" question: VP in on the plan?
Chloe rocks! So happy to see her doing something besides arguing with Edgar. Maybe she'll become a field agent permanently? Maybe she could be Jack's love interest next year? Hee hee. What a thought.
I think the VP is just a ninny after all. I think Palmer will be there for a few episodes then disappear when the "real" President recovers from his plane crash injuries.
This season is way better than the last two, I think. Someone mentioned what was the deal with Jack breaking down and crying at the end of season three and I have to say that that was the best moment of the seaon for me. It restored his humanness. Remember he had just had to shoot his co-worker in an effort to keep the terrorists from releasing the virus and yet the terrorists were hardly appeased anyway. I was certainly troubled by how he just moved on from that event and how (what's his name? the bald guy? Ryan?) the dead man was barely mentioned in subsequent episodes. To have Jack finally break down and think about what he'd done was perfect.
This season: these must be the most organized terrorists ever. They go from derailing a train, to putting a hit on the Secretary of Defense, to stealing a nuclear power plant controller, to melting down a nuclear reactor, to shooting down Air Force One--oh wait, that's all just a cover for actually--stealing the nuclear codes and then a warhead and now....what could possibly worse coming next? What a busy day for terrorists! Oh well, the level of unreality is probably good otherwise it would scare the bejeepers out of people.
See you next Monday!

Ok, this is a little hint, What kind of computer does the VP use? Is it an Apple or PC. The bad guys use PCs the good guys use Apples. Don't believe me? Check the 1st season, Nina who turns out to bethe worst of the baddies is using a PC throughout while the goodies are all using Apples. All the baddies do in the 1st season at least.

Re: "24" question: VP in on the plan?
Thanks for the photo, Scott! That rocked. Now people won't look at me like I'm nuts when I say that Chloe's my favorite character (she always has the best lines). Who didn't love this exchange:
Edgar: "He says you're the best analyst we have."
Chloe: [ pause] "I know."
We've been renting the season 2 DVDs to tide us over between new eps. Season 2, Ep. 1 is now known as "Blonde Invasion".

Re: "24" question: VP in on the plan?
I love it when Chloe is annoyed, stressed, insulted, suspicious, or simply intent; she knits her furrowed brows and gives "the look". And her soft pink lipstick matches her blouse. Chloe & Edgar do more for the security of this country then words can express.

Re: "24" question: VP in on the plan?
I didn't see the previews so I was blown away when President Palmer came back. I always did like him. And it's about darn time Chloe' got some "meat" to her role. As for the rest of the crew, gimmee Tony Almeda ANYDAY! I would trust him with my life. And I would like to see him and Michelle together. Audrey has to go though....she absolutely ANNOYS me!

Re: "24" question: VP in on the plan?
perhaps being the SOD's daughter has something to do with it... and dating jack... and what is her job again? something related to CTU, i think.
