OOPS. You are right, I accicently took the statistics for Niger not Nigeria.
Still, I see some hostility from militant Islam. Especially if there is a flood of converts.

When the Pope was in Nigeria, he ordered 99 priests in a ceremony, Africa has a lot of faith and this is very good.

Re: Do you think Cardinal Arinze...
Once again, the shortsightedness of humanity would snub Arinze because of his skin. Yet the Holy Spirit, does know more than WE will ever and if The Hole Spirit wants Arinze, Arinze will be the Next Pope.
after the Homily of today's funeral Mass, I am split between Ratzy and Arinze.
People may find fault in ANYONE voted now becaue the Media will want to 'find dirt' on anyone.

Re: Do you think Cardinal Arinze...
I do really think that if christians truely call themselves christians, they will be contented with the will of the Lord if He decides that Cardinal Arinze is His chosen one. All we need do is to pray for one like popoe John paul II to be there. One who will concentrate on the unity, peace and care of the human race.

Re: Do you think Cardinal Arinze...
I voted no. From what I have read, he would be a wonderful pope. He would be the 4th black pope in our church history. Of course the other 3 were a looong time ago.Love and Peace
