I vote for Scott LaFrance as our new Pope.......as long as he prays for 7 hours like our great Pope John Paul 11!

Christ is risen...truly He is risen!

I am currently on a few bandwagons... Church Militant, Scott LaFrance, & Apologia 100. I'd consider anyone of these and maybe a few more.

You can't leave until a new Pope is elected.

Good idea, Maranatha. Here are my two lists:

List # 1
Scott Lafrance
Church Militant
mtr01
Franze

Brad
CCF Jeff

List # 2
Scott Lafrance
Church Militant
mtr01
Franze

Brad
CCF Jeff

I think multilingualness is a good feature. As far as I know, Scott speaks Greek and Franze speaks Spanish. Any other languages that we don't know about?

Now that CCF Jeff is no longer in pectore, please allow me to take this opportunity to put forward my new in pectore papabile who shall represent any of those whose names I have forgotten.

If that is a bad idea, I can be a cardinal...

Foul! I suspect from this list you are playing politics. What's the penalty for rigging the election? Cestusdei and other serious contenders are not on the list.

These are my two lists. I did not presume to collate all the names. Which reminds me, you wouldn't happen to be good at collating names, would you? Hint hint...

Sort of like Christianne Amanpour? Perfect. You may have a difficult time profiling the in pectore cardinal I have put forward, but I am sure (like Amanpour) you will come up with something.

Time to chime in:

Catholic Dude - He recently hooked horms with James White.

Church Militant - He's always ready to give an answer.

+veritas+ - Very professional in his writings and would make a great pope for encyclicals and letters.

Annunciata - (Ok to nominate a woman), She is very thoughful with a heart and love for everyone.

Karl Keating - Ok, I'll nominate him. Maybe this will get him to post more and show us his humor and wit...BTW is Jimmy Akin ever here?

Finally,
Hesychios - An Eastern 'brother' who really is devoted to the Byzantine Rite and devout and sincere. Charitable in his presentation of Eastern Catholicism

AND

Irish Melkite - I am TOTALLY amazed by his knowledge of the Eastern Catholic Church. My Eastern 'brother' has taught me about my Rite, since my returning.
