Just started reading this today and am already half-way through. Whatever happens in the conclave, I cannot recommend this book highly enough. Cardinal Ratzinger is brilliant.
I was thinking about getting Ratzinger's book, "Milestones" but I saw a review that said it didn't go into much detail about his childhood. Of the 150 pages, how much is devoted to his pre-priestly years? Thanks. Kathy
