Question throwing out old prayer cards?

what's the proper way to dispose of old prayer cards/pamphlets/booklets/tracts? I've accumulated quite a few over the years, many of which are now crinkled and unusable (having been stuffed into various jacket, coat and pant pockets). I think some of them may be blessed (e.g from ordinations). Should I just gather all the ruined ones and burn them?

I have heard that burning and burying are the proper ways to dispose of blessed sacramentals.

Whatever you do please don't just drop them off in the vestibule of the church or in the book rack...we just throw them out...we don't want them either. I can't tell you how many people get cards and such in the mail (along with requests for donations) and just bring them to the church. You can throw them out. Same with old Mass cards for the deceased.
