Eternal rest grant unto them, Oh Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen x2

Oh, my Jesus
Forgive us our sins,
Save us from the fires of hell,
Lead all souls to Heaven,
Especially those in most need of thy mercy.

Amen.

Our Father, which art in Heaven
Hollowed be thy name
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done
On earth as it is in Heaven

Give us this day, our daily bread
And forgive us our trespasses
As we forgive those who trespass against us

Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil
Amen

Oh, my Jesus
Forgive us our sins
Save us from the fires of hell
And lead all souls to Heaven
Especially those in most need of thy mercy
Amen

Hail Mary, full of grace
The Lord is with thee
Blessed art thou amongst women
And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus

Holy Mary, Mother of God
Pray for us sinners
Now and at the hour of our deaths
Amen

Glory be to The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit
As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be
World without end
Amen

I had a bed side reconciliation with my father on Tuesday the 29th, and started to fly back home...he was doing better. then while in JFK for my layover back to L:A I found out his blood gases were horrible. he was screaming that he was dying..those are his last words! On the 28th I asked him if he would be OK with a priest coming in. I though my sister may reject as I am a convert. (We weren't Catholic because of YEARS of sexual abuse on him.) My prayers came true when she had seen in all of his belongings, which were in one folder included his confirmation card from 1957,despite surviving a hurricane! He asked if he was sorry for any sins he have committed, he shook his head yes, then he was annointed...His last sacrament through the Church in over 35 years. My spiritual directer said he had a "Happy death" that he had God and family surrounding him, and that a deathbed conversion is a big important experience for our LORD and His people to have. He was truly His prodigal son. Now, my sister is angry because she thought there was a pot of gold at the end of his tunnel, and there's not. However, he will be buried next to his mother from 1949 when she died. she can keep the money. so please..pray for the repose for my dad's soul,(John) and my sister's(Michelle)...at least he had somewhere to turn to in the end (the Church) I am just happy that we were able to clean up his abuse of me, AND have a priest pray with him, take his confession of sorts and then had my husband and I receive communion for him. It's all too sad how family members are sometimes, or a lot of the time...but his sins were forgiven, and he was forgiven by me as well. I feel SO good that HE chose the priest to come in...he was a little upset at first with the heart rate going up, but he ultimately decided for himself, I didn't push it on him one bit. How beautiful was that? We have a prayer service in July when my mom gets out of the hospital and my sister';s kids have off, and I am done with my procedures needed this month. But, the Mass for the repose of his soul was done at 12 noon (Eastern) on Sunday. He is in a much better place....at least i believe that. I also had the priest make my Lourdes water into holy water, and I put oil on him from my St. Philomena Shrine pilgrimage on my birthday in March. Please pray that I am able to hold it all together as this seems to get worse the more it unravels!

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Lord, hear our prayers.
Jesus, hear our prayers.

Receive, Lord, in tranquillity and peace, the souls of your servants who have departed out of this present life to be with you. Give them the life that knows no age, the good things that do not pass away; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
,
Please care for those in your care who I was close to when they walked upon this planet, such as Gramps and Auntie Ann, and for those around me whom I did not know as well, such as Ben and Jonathan, and also for those dying every minute who I have never met, and the souls in purgatory. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done,

For my husband's grandmother, who passed away this evening. She was a good woman, she will be sorely missed.
