Apologies for resurrecting this old thread, but I wanted to add my admiration for this book.
My greatest impression was how Benedict illustrated in countless ways how Jesus was the fulfilling of the Jewish covenant. For one like me who has a hard time reading the Old Testament and seeing how it precedes Jesus, this book was an eye opener. Brilliantly done.
