Default TLM Mass Locations?

Is there a website I can go to in order to find out if there is a Latin Mass in my diocese? And, is there a difference between a 'NO Latin Mass' and a Tridentine Latin Mass ('m assuming that's what TLM stand for)? I'm sorry if this is a stupid question - I'm still trying to come up to speed on all of this. I love the pictures of the TLM I've seen on this forum and would love to attend one.
Also - if I went to one - would I know what to do??? Are there Latin missals that I could read from? (could I stumble thorugh the language if the only Latin I know is Adeste Fidelis??)

Here's a link...

It's pretty complete.

Also there is a difference between a NO in Latin and the Traditional Latin Mass. The TLM is (usually) from the 1962 Missal. The NO is from the post-concilar Missals.

Try here:

http://www.masstimesdotNet.org/

The site doesn't seem to distinguish between new and old Mass. It just says "Latin." But it usually provides a phone number so you can call the church and ask.

I wouldn't worry about responding in Latin at the old Mass. The servers usually take care of the responses. And they should provide Latin/English missals near the door of the church. Good luck and I hope you enjoy it.

Doh! Dropper beat me to it!

That link's much better since it's exclusively the approved Traditional Latin Mass (no schismos).

This list includes both Novus Ordo and Tridentine Latin Masses:

I can't vouch for the entire website's content nor every Mass on that list (those of sede vacantists, like the webmaster), but that list is fairly comprehensive and recently updated.

If you're a woman, wear a veil or hat to church. Dress modestly (I hope you dress modestly to church anyway). I hope you love it at least as much as DH and I love the traditional Latin Mass!!

Thank you. I wouldn't have thought of that. I don't own either a veil or hat...what type of veill is appropriate? One that just sits on top of my head (round doily type) or an actual longer veil like the one Laura Bush wore at the Vatican? (where do I get them??)

I'm calling tomorrow to see if the TLM is still offered - one parish that had it listed no longer offers it (the priest was reassigned) but there are 2 more listed within an hour from me that I'm going to give a call to.

Hello. Anyone going to the Pentecost Sunday TLM at Holy Rosary Church in Jersey City, NJ is to be reminded that the time was changed to 9:30am for just that Sunday and possibly Corpus Christi as well. The website gives the usual time of 12:30pm, but the time was changed temporarily in hopes of getting more people who have places to go to on Sunday afternoon. Again, it's at 9:30am with chanted propers from the Liber Usualis and four-part harmony.

Some TLM Churches have chapel veils in the entrance. If not, I wouldn't consider this a priority. It's not like someone will tell you you're not welcomed because you're not wearing one!

Wouldn't it be nice to have like a BBB of churches which listed each parish and the kind it is?

You know, modern, traditional, orthodox, charismatic.
